Lord, it seems the worst thing that possible could happen, has happened to me.   Every fiber of my being is crushed.  How can I endure the pain?

My Child, as you lean your entire personality on me, I will heal your hurt.  I know the pain you feel.   Because I suffered, I am able to help you in your suffering.  Having trod the path of anguish, I felt every hurt you feel.  I experienced every grief known to the human race; therefore I am able to be a haven of rest of you in your time of testing.

In the natural, you cannot endure the pain, but my Spirit is within you to give you the strength you need.  You, like every child of mine, have been given the power to transcend trouble.  Suffering awakens your understanding to the power available to you.  Nothing is impossible with me.  My Spirit dwells within you to accomplish the impossible.

In the midst of you heartache and frustrations, draw upon my strength.  Do not attempt to reason everything out, but rest in my love.  I am you burden-bearer.  Relax in me.  Let my peace permeate you every cell.  Rest in the assurance that wholeness will come to you.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
